Newest V2.13 Kess V2 Software Installation Guide

KESS V2 released newest version V2.13, it support multi-language: English/ German/ Spanish/ Italian/ Portuguese/ French.

Here comes to KSuite V2.13 software installation procedure:

1. Pre-disable PC/Laptop internet connection;

2. Insert CD software into PC drive and open E:\ (Picture 1.1);

3. Copy and paste KSuite V2.13 Folder into desktop; open this folder and then extract KSuite2.13 Zip File (Picture 1.2);

4. Next run Setup, you can easily finish K-Suite setup according to system prompts;

5. Right Click K-Suite and select Properties >> Find Target Folder, and then delete all files in it (Picture 1.3);

6. Open already extracted (In Step 3) KSuite2.13 Folder; Copy all files (Except Help Folder) into C:\K-Suite Folder;

7. Open KSuite v2.11-2.13 (E:) (Check Picture 1.1), Copy Help Folder into C:\K-Suite Folder;

8. Connect KESS V2 device with PC, the PC will automatically come out Hardware Wizard asking for installation (Being easily completed);

9. Check whether a good connection bewteen PC and KESS V2 device (Picture 1.4);

10. Click K-Suite Icon (Derive from Step 4 setup installation) for running.

Problems and Solution of VAS 5054A

Problem: I install the software on computer, but cannot search VAS 5054A via bluetooth, what happened? I check bluetooth, it work 100%, but i cannot connect the device with the car, and the light is off.

Solution:
When you use USB to connect the VAS 5054A with computer, then do not use bluetooth. There are two ways for connection: USB cable and Bluetooth. You can choose one way to use this tool, not both at the same time. This is the wrong place for your operation.

How to use bluetooth to connect the VAS 5054A?

1) Connect the device with your car, then you will see the blue light is flashing.
2) Connect bluetooth adapter with your computer. There will be a bluetooth logo on the bottom right corner of computer. (There must be this logo, remember to install the bluetooth software)
3) Match the bluetooth as the instruction in the package

Add Honda new keys with HIM HDS diagnostic scan tool

Honda HDS HIM diagnostic tool not only supports basic diagnostic function but also programming functions, like VIN reading and Immo programming. Here is an example of adding Honda new keys with HDS software.
The HDS is required for registration of the immobilizer keys. Programming the immobilizer also programs the keyless transmitter.
Use the HDS with Honda key blacks to add a key or keyless control unit, storing the transponder code of the new key in the memory of the control unit.
To add one new key/Keyless transmitter, you need:
1. Immobilizer Mater Key Blank or Immobilizer Valet Key Blank
2. One programmed ignition key (master or valet) for the vehicle
3. Vehicle key code
4. PCM code
5. Honda HIM double board system with HDS latest software 3.015.20 (support 1992-2014.11 year Honda)
6. Key cutting machine, like Condor XC-007 key cutting machine.

Make sure the market, the date, and the time on the HDS setup screen are correct.
Select the F12 key in the upper right corner to get the Set-up Details screen.
Make sure Market: is set to USA.

Adding new keys instruction:
1) Use an appropriate key blank and the key cutting machine to cut a new ignition key.
2) Connect the Honda HIM diagnostic system with vehicle via OBD socket
3) Insert a programmed ignition key into the ignition switch
4) Turn ignition ON
5) Run HDS Honda software and come to iN screen
6) At the screen prompts, enter the VIN and the odometer reading, then verify the correct date and time.
7) Select "IMMOBI" from "System Selection" Menu
8) Select "Immobilizer Setup" from "Immobilizer Test Mode" Menu
9) Select Add and Delete Keys
10) Select Add 1 Key
11) Select Begin to Add 1 Key
12) Follow the HDS screen prompts, if your HDS is not logged in to the iN, you willhave to enter the PCM code you have retrieved from the iN Immobilizer Code Inquiry to proceed.
13) When adding keys procedure completed, turn ignition OFF
14) Exit HDS software and disconnect Honda HIM HDS scan tool from vehicle

Usage of BMW ENET cable to do BMW F-series coding

Received my BMW ENET cable and did some DIY job for F30 already.

This BMW ENET (Ethernet to OBD) Interface Cable is designed to work on BMW F-series alone. Let’s go straight to the point.

You need:

A BMW ENET cable

E-Sys program, datafiles, token and PIN

A PC/laptop running Windows XP system (mine second-hand Panasonic Win xp 64 bit OS)

Just spending a little money and you will get a powerful ENET cable for $16.99 without postage. I recommend get one from Uobd2.net which offers good technical support. Usually, after he receives payment, they can have the cable shipped as soon as possible and arrive with you between 3 to 4 days.

I have found some clue on how to solder the cable list as below. Better understanding with the pictures guidance.

The package comes with E-Sys program, datafiles and such which enable me to use directly without downloading. I was offered E-Sys v3.18.4 in combination with the v46.3 datafiles. I have to mention that the datafiles contains more than 10GB memory, so you have to take hours and hours to download it all. And you have no choice but to wait patiently.

Then please refer the pdf guide here E-Sys – MacOSX installation and configuration.pdf to start install the E-Sys. As soon as you start the vehicle, the E-Sys program will automatically saves the CAF files into “C:\ESysData\CAF”. Then copy all these files on to the certain folder.

After that, please do as the following steps:

1) Connect the laptop to vehicle and click the connect symbol

2) Select "F20"(not F020 direct) and click connect. Close the popping out message when you see your car VIN, if not, repeat the progress again.

3) Accept following windows message and close the program

4) Switch to coding mode, go to expert mode and click on coding icon on the left vertical pane.

5) Come to the coding program. Click Read button under the VO pane and then FA appears

6) Now Click on Read VCM or Read button under VCM pane. You will find it it will be on your right hand-Center

7) All the ECU's will display on the main program. Then expand the ECU’s and all most all ECU’s will have a file starting with CAF (With green indicator) right click on the CAF file and select Read coding data, ignore whose who did not contain CAF. But remember do not click all CAF files. Four or five is the maximum.

8) After complete above procedures, go to c:/esydata/CAF. All the .ncd files have been generated on the CAF folder.

9) Copy .ncd files and on your pc or laptop. Run the software program and then start to do F30 coding according to the window instructions.

- Disable A.S.S. by default (can still be enabled but starts with setting ‘off’)

- Remember last setting of A.S.S. (works only when not disabled by default)
