MCT-500 Motorcycle Scanner Update:

1. Update procedure is easy.

1) Connect the USB cable with PC, select "USB storage" option, the PC will detect the device as new flash disk.

2) Copy the update tool files to the disk, follow the tips to finish updating procedure. ( If your TF card can not be reset, please follow the tips to disconnect and connect power, then finish the updating procedure)

2. Device can be used as a USB flash disk

When connect USB cable with PC and select "USB storage" option,  the device can be used a USB flash disk which can save files based on your needs. Disable the flash disk on PC when finish using. The scanner will back to Main Menu automatically.

Replace TF card and battery

If the TF card is damaged or the battery is low, open the device back cover to replace.  Make sure the scanner is power off before replacing.

NOTE: MCT-500 Motorcycle scanner's TF card is FAT32 format. Please pay attention when formatting SD card. Otherwise the scanner will not work properly.

I was playing around with my MB Star C4 and Xentry 2016 developer mode
and I might have found a alternative to delete the ABC warning lights without a module.

Tested on 2003 Mercedes-Benz CL600 Base Coupe 215.376 5.5L V12
FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO CONVERT TO COIL-OVER and remove ABC suspension forever

So, here is what I found, someone can test it but you have to have DAS Xentry with developer mode.

I can’t test it as I already have the module installed and no time right now
If nobody can test it, I will do it one of these days

(Solved)VAG KM+IMMO tool V1.8.2 “No authority”

“When I tried to run IMMO of the VW odometer tool, a window popped out, saying I had no authority to use it,” said Ian.

At first, I thought I could be the software problem – maybe Ian damaged the software accidently. So I send him a new VAGCOM software to try again. However, after installing the drive, he said the drive could not recognize the new software, but could find USB2.0-Serial file.

The problem never happened before. Then I turned to our technician for help. According to the technician, if the drive Ian was using is 409.1 type, it was probably that the drive had not been well installed.

How to solve the problem:
1.Right click the drive that has not been well installed;
2.Update the drive;
3.Choose program for 409.1 Drive.

How to disable the seat belt reminder using a Saab Tech 2 clone scan tool?

2 Press and hold the INFO dial until given audible confirmation.

3 Adjust the speed using the INFO dial.

4 Confirm the setting by pressing the INFO dial.

A star on the right-hand side of the display indicates when the speed warning function is active.

An audible alarm will sound if the set speed is exceeded.

Disengage the function with the CLEAR button. Re-engage the function using the INFO dial.

I have Star Diagnosis on Dell D630 with SD connect C4 diagnostic head. My software is from 2015, and i want to make update. Here are questions and answers of Mercedes diagnostic software and hardware. Big thanks to all contributors.
