1) Insert the CD to your computer. And connect the hardware with your computer. Go to “My computer”, click the CD. You will enter “Hardware Update Wizard”. Choose “USB serial converter” to help you install the software (1), then choose “From list or specify a location to install (advanced) (S)” [This stop is must (2)], then click “Next” (3).
2) You will enter “Please select your search and installation options”, choose the following options: Search for removable media (floppy disk, CD-ROM…..)
Then choose: “Include this location in the search”. After this, choose “browse”, you will see the folder, choose “CDM_Setup”, then “confirm”. After doing these, click “Next”
3) Now, you go back to “Hardware Update Wizard”, you will see “USB Serial port (COM3)” to help you install the VAG diagnostic tool software, then choose “From list or specify a location to install? (advanced) (S)”, finally click “Next”
4) Now you will enter “computer management”. You will see the places marked number 14 and 15.
5) Now setup is over. Go to vag commander software, click this one, mark number 16. Then choose the model to test.
